Laura Izibor is set to unveil a new track recorded especially for her debut appearance on The CW’s hit series, One Tree Hill! The song, entitled "Can’t Be Love," arrives at all DSPs tomorrow, October 19th.

Laura will be performing "Can't Be Love" as part of her television acting debut on the long-running drama tomorrow, at 8/7c on the CW! Laura will join the One Tree Hill cast as "Erin," a recurring role slated to appear throughout the series’ current season.

"There’s a musician I fell in love with and a storyline I fell in love with," One Tree Hill creator/executive producer Mark Schwahn recently told TVGuide.com, "and we actually married them together for Laura Izibor. She’s really compelling, I loved her record, I really loved her accent and her vibe, and felt that was an energy we hadn’t included on our show."

What’s more, Izibor’s new rendition of the show’s official theme song, "I Don’t Want To Be" by Gavin DeGraw, will premiere alongside her acting debut. The song will also be made available on the One Tree Hill website, http://cwtv.com/shows/one-tree-hill.

Atlantic Records has announced the forthcoming release of "FOR COLORED GIRLS: MUSIC FROM AND INSPIRED BY THE ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK," the all-female musical companion to the upcoming Lionsgate drama. Laura's brand new, unreleased song "What More Can They Do" is featured on the soundtrack! Listen to the track now in audio player above!

"FOR COLORED GIRLS: MUSIC FROM AND INSPIRED BY THE ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK" sees an all female line up ranging from newcomers Janelle Monàe and Estelle to Grammy Award-nominee Leona Lewis, as well as the legendary Gladys Knight. The soundtrack, which features 13 brand new, unreleased songs, also includes the stand out tracks, "What More Can They Do" by Laura Izibor and "Four Women," a cover of the Nina Simone original of the same title, which features Nina herself, her daughter Simone, Laura Izibor, and Ledisi. The collection also features music from Estelle, Janelle Monàe, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Lalah Hathaway, Zaki Ibrahim, and Anika Noni Rose.

The much buzzed about film – directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry – premieres in theatres nationwide on November 5th. The soundtrack lands in stores and online on November 2nd.

Congrats to Laura for being awarded the 2010 BMI European Pop Award, for "From My Heart To Yours"! BMI celebrates Europe’s premier songwriters, composers and music publishers at their annual BMI London Awards. At this year's awards, guests filled London’s Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane to toast the past year’s most-performed songs on U.S. radio and television.
