    Feels like forever since i last checked in guys. My days just keep getting fuller!! So last wk i did finish up in the India Arie tour, which was simply one of the most enjoyable experiences i've had. Went straight onto germany where my album has just been released. And right now today i'm 4 shows into my own tour. Starting off in my home town gorgeous Dublin. Its been so great to be able to perform with my whole band again and sing a whole set. I've been really working on my set trying to find balance throughout it. each show has been different from the next which is just how i like it. Keeps things fresh. I just played London tonight and was lovely. The audience were so warm. just got back from the show had a wee catch up with my manager. Every now and again we talk about everything. The stress the joy, everything! only way to stay awake and be present. i really gotta catch some z'zzz peoples. early morning ahead. radio performance the off to paris to headline. salut L X

Last night's London show was really excellent - Laura & her band were on top form. The King's College venue was very intimate (it's just a shame that the management did nothing to keep noise from the bar at an appropriate level). I first saw Laura supporting Maceo Parker, and then at last year's North Sea Jazz Festival (why no return to NSJ this year Laura?). Each show has demonstrated her Irish warmth & charm - plus that great soul voice & musicianship. Also, Laura’s a fine looking girl - which always helps in the entertainment business! I’ve had the privilege of seeing some other great female singers in concert, including: Aretha, Gladys, Anita, Randy, Alicia, Mary J & Patti. and I think Laura will have a long, successful career and become Ireland’s Soul Queen! Get a show ticket & the music - you won’t be disappointed. JJH

Just heard From my Heart to Yours on VH1 soul. Keep up the good work and don't let the corporate machine ruin your purity of sound. I will mos def be checking for new material and looking for that album. -JB
