Laura has been nominated for two Meteor Ireland Music Awards, for Best Irish Female and Best Pop Act! Laura has previously won the 2006 Meteor Ireland Music Award in the Emerging Artist category.
Recognized worldwide as Ireland's definitive music awards, it will celebrate it's ten year anniversary this year. The awards are Irelands equivalent to the Grammy Awards and the UK's BRIT Awards. The 2010 Meteor Awards are scheduled to take place in Dublin on February 19, 2010, with host Amanda Byram.
