Laura sat down with Metro Montage, as part of their '20 Minutes With' series where she reveals how she got into music as a child and some of her musical influences growing up. Tell me about the first music you can recall hearing as a child.
Like so many young girls, I destroyed my mother’s ears trying to sing Whitney Houston songs very badly.

Laura Izibor will be performing 'Can't Be Love' as part of her television acting debut on the long-running drama. Joining the cast as a new character named Erin, Laura left quite the impression on show creator and executive producer Mark Schwahn.
"There’s a musician I fell in love with and a storyline I fell in love with," explains Schwahn, "and we actually married them together for Laura Izibor.

Laura Izibor talks about why Philip Lynott was such an inspiration to her and the recording of her second album.
"I was in the middle of recording my second album last month when I became aware of a lot of Philip Lynott stuff going on. We had a few hours to spare and I thought I'd love to have a go at 'Don't Believe A Word'. It's easily my favourite Phil Lynott song and when I talked to my band they were well up for doing it too.
